Hi – just some news from my home country of Scotland – since it never gets featured

An RAF Tornado (from RAF Leuchars AFB in Fife) crashed in the Argyll (pronounced Arr-gile) and Bute (pronounced B-yoot) – resulting in the deaths of both pilots. Here’s the link to the full story:

ep 54 was fantastic but the Thomas cook article was probably blown out of perspective by the mail.

Also may i add Toulouse is not pronounced like how you pronounced it on this weeks podcast.

The podcast is longer, but the file size is much smaller than last time. Episode 53 was 75 meg but this new Episode 54 is 40 meg. We did get carried away, and hope to keep the podcast length shorter next time.

Not sure I truly believe what they are all predicting but at least it points to the fact that some consolidation among the legacies must occur. The ruinous price competition has all of them on the brink of financial disaster. Besides none of the legacies is sufficiently reinvesting in hard assets, so planes, facilities and so forth are getting older and, eventually, will wear out.

Keep up the good work guys! Court we miss ya!

Court is still transitioning to his new job and wasn’t able to get us a recording for Episode 54, but he’ll be back with more soon! We all miss him a lot!

We haven’t forgotten about getting Saj on the show. Now that #54 is out, I’ll be catching up on guest scheduling.

Hi Team (and it is a team now),

I’ve just finished listening to Episode 53 this morning and enjoyed it a lot even though at times it seemed a little crowded there for a while. I was also impressed how slick the Australian desk is becoming with the guys bouncing off each other and living in Australia myself, I could easily relate to what they were reporting.

It was good to hear Courtney putting in his “guest” appearance as well (hopefuly we will continue to hear from him regularly) and even though I prefer the two episode concept, I still love the Podcast whichever way you do it.

Finally, I’m hoping to hear you have Saj Ahamad from Fleetbuzz Editorial on your show but no luck yet as I was reminded of him when Dan quoted a couple of things from the Editorial about Qatar Airways giving Boeing a bollocking for being late with the 787.
