The 2018-19 Winter Lecture Series begins wednesday October 10th (7pm) and is repeated on saturday October 13th (12 noon) with John Fredrickson’s presentation on the evolution of aircraft manufacturing with special attention given to the North American experience. The series is entitled “The Grand Designs of the Golden Age of Aviation, 1927-57”. Subsequent presentation will cover advances in aerodynamics, power plants, radios and navigation and structures.
